Jon and Sansa made so much more sense than Jon and Dany. So many parallels, so much history. If it ended with a happy ever after with Jon and Dany it would have been so cliche. Hero falls in love with the pretty queen. Jonsa is more meaningful.

man, i wrote someplace else, but the more times passess, and you look back in hindsight, the more JOn and Sansa makes sense. And their scenes when watched in retrospect, the shit they did for each other, the regard in which they held each other, the fact that in the end, what convinced Jon to finish off Dany was the threat she posed to Sansa and the North, and you come to realise, there was so much going on there between the two characters. I wonder why they kept it in a bottle if you will. Backlash fears? Or if GRRM didn't want it out in the open. I don't know. But there's so much there that hints at a Jonsa romance. From the Ashford tourney, to the many parallels in their arcs in the books, and even to something I recently read on LF, and his character inspiration, including his feelings for Catelyn, relationship with Lysa, jealousy of the Starks, obsession with Sansa, all of it, taken straight from Heathcliff's story in Wuthering Heights. And in that one, the Sansa character if you will, escapes her captor, and heads North where she falls in love with her ... cousin. , Read about it. If you can't find it, ask me to post it.
